Debra S. Reiser, 64, of Watertown, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018, at her residence.
Memorial services are at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Crawford-Osthus Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steve Biswell will officiate. Visitation will be at the chapel prior to the service.
Debra was born on May 18, 1954, to Clarence and JoAnn (Simeon) Fast, in Le Mars, Iowa. She was a 1972 graduate of Sioux Valley High School in Volga. On Jan. 31, 1980, Debra married Norman Reiser. The couple moved to Pasadena, Texas, and later to Dayton, Texas, where she worked for many years as a CNA.
They moved to Brookings, in June of 1993. Debra worked as a CNA at the United Retirement Center in Brookings for 17 years before retiring.
After Norman died on March 3, 2017, she moved with her children to Watertown. Debra was a very dedicated and hard worker. She enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Debra is survived by her children: Jennifer Shultz and Rebecca Reiser, both of Watertown, and Darcy Reiser of Volga; her mother, JoAnn Fast of Brookings; four grandchildren and three sisters: Patty Jepsen, Brenda Reiser and Leslie Fast, all of Brookings.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman; her father, Clarence; one brother, Craig; and one sister, Lisa.
