Fliers win Dell Rapids Invite

DELL RAPIDS – The Flandreau boys and the Sioux Falls Christian girls won the Dell Rapids Invite at Rocky Run Golf Course on Wednesday.

Girls

The Fliers came in first with 25 points. Tea Area came in second (38) and Lennox came in third (42). Colman-Egan finished in fourth with 66 points.

Emily Plucker came in first individually with a time of 20 minutes and 23.79 seconds. Flandreau seventh grader Faith Wiese came in second (20:45.04) and Jaycie Babb finished in third (21:10.11). 

Libby Hursey came in fifth (21:25.35) for Flandreau. Josie Hamilton finished in ninth (22:18.91) and Lily Klein came in 14th (22:30.66). Teiloni Hardy rounded things out for the Fliers and finished in 38th (24:53.78).

Reese Luze led the way for Colman-Egan finishing in 10th (22:27.65). Abby Rhode came in 20th (23:12.10) and Brynlee Landis finished in 22nd (23:25.57). Presley Luze came in 25th (23:35.38).

Boys

Sioux Falls Christian had 43 points. Baltic came in second (55) and Lennox finished in third (59). Flandreau came in fourth (73). Estelline/Hendricks finished in seventh (107) and Elkton-Lake Benton came in ninth (123).

Preston Bohl of Garretson won the individual race with a time of 17:26.30. Estelline/Hendricks’ Riley Benning came in second (17.33.39) and Jacob Vogel of Dell Rapids came in third (18:04.93).

Flandreau’s Austin Kulm came in 10th (18:32.16) and Lurick Dailey finished in 21st (19:14.32). Tanner Reed finished in 25th (19:20.46) for the Fliers and Sam Gassman came in 32nd (20:08.16). Lars Dailey was the last finisher for Flandreau and he came in 40th (20:50.91).

Mattix Hausman came in 34th (20:12.73) and Camden Hobbs came in 39th (20:46.78) for Estelline/Hendricks. ELB’s Riley Hunter came in 17th (19:02.76) and Miles Harming finished in 33rd (20:12.73). Mason Ramlo rounded things out for the Elks and he finished in 41st (20:56.11).
