MINOT, N.D. – Nicholas Grabko made 25 saves and Andrew Kangas and Vince Marino both lit the lamp as the Minotauros beat the Blizzard 2-0 in an NAHL Central Division game Friday night at Pepsi Rink at Maysa Arena.
Kangas scored off an assist from Levi Kleiboer at the 7:44 mark of the first period. Kleiboer and Nikolai Charchenko set up Marino’s tally with 4:06 left in the first.
The Blizzard’s Brennan Boynton stopped 35 shots.
Brookings (11-43-3-2, 27 points) and Minot (35-21-3-0, 73 points) face off again tonight at 7:35 at Maysa Arena.
