BROOKINGS – The Bullets fell 16-3 and 12-11 to Harrisburg Maroon on Friday evening at Bob Shelden Field.
Brookings (6-21) plays a doubleheader at Sioux Falls West today at 5 p.m.
Game 1
• Harrisburg 16, Brookings (5 inn.)
The visitors put up a 12-spot in the fifth inning to break open a one-run game.
Addison Ronning (RBI) and Jacob Kahle totaled two hits apiece for the Bullets. Tate Helmbolt singled and drove in a run.
Kahle, the starting pitcher, surrendered three runs on just one hit with seven walks and three strikeouts over three innings.

Harrisburg scored twice in the sixth to pull even and then pushed across the winning run in the top of the seventh.
The Bullets’ Jacob York was 3-for-5 with a double and a pair of RBIs.
Yuji Numata ended up 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
Sam Johnson (double), Kalen Reisetter (single) and Jackson Hunter logged RBIs.
York allowed 12 runs – nine earned – on nine hits and five walks with a pair of Ks in six-plus frames.
