The Brookings Bobcats struggled offensively Thursday night as they dropped a 36-29 game on the road to the Harrisburg Tigers.
The Bobcats came out and played the Tigers to an 8-8 tie in the first quarter before Harrisburg pulled away for a 20-16 lead at halftime. The Tigers held on to a 27-22 advantage after three quarters and put the Bobcats away by out-scoring them 9-7 in the fourth quarter.
Logan Smidt led the Bobcats with six points on the night while Gracey Sheridan and Tess Burns had five points each. Macy Even, Sophia Dvergsten and Sophia Hammrich also had four points each in the loss.
Harrisburg was led by Hannah Eiden and Kyleigh Hybertson with 10 points each.
The Bobcats fell to 2-9 on the season and will host Sioux Falls Washington at Bob Jostad Gymnasium in Brookings on Tuesday night.
