 Aberdeen 2, Brookings 1

BROOKINGS – The Cougars edged the Rangers.

Jacob Kahle lit the lamp in the third period.

Egan Jensen had 29 saves in goal.

Sunday, Nov. 22

 Brookings 14, Huron 0

BROOKINGS – The Rangers outshot the All Stars 45-3.

Seven different players scored in the opening period as Brookings opened up a 7-0 advantage.

Jay Harris paced the balanced attack with a hat trick.

Cooper Deatherage, Luke Honkomp, Riley Linstad and Jacob Kahle each found the back of the net twice, while Talon Hyde, Jacob Law and Ren Jacobsen added goals.

Deatherage also had a playmaker, with Law, Kahle and Jacobsen chipping in with a pair of assists apiece.

Honkomp, Hyde, Carson Odde and Chase Karch chipped in with one each.

Egan Jensen stopped three shots.

ABERDEEN – Ava Kahle netted the game-winning tally midway through the final period.

Anna Rasmussen had two goals and an assist.

Taryn Richter (assist), Miyah Foerster and Payton Triplett also scored.

Kinzey Grendler dished out a pair of helpers. Maya Edmison added one.

Rorii Quam stopped 16 shots.
