ELMHUSRT, Ill. – For the first time in her career, South Dakota State women’s golfer Cassidy Laidlaw was named The Summit League’s Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week, released Wednesday by the league office.
The freshman led the Jackrabbits at the GCU Invitational Feb. 24-25 in Phoenix, Ariz. She shot a 226 (77-75-74) to tie for 19th on the par-72, 6,110-yard course.
The Calgary native is second on the team and eighth in the league with a 75.22 stroke average over 18 rounds.
Up Next: Laidlaw and the Jackrabbits return to action March 5-7 when they play in the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
