Lennis Baumiller,  69, of  Gary, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Ava’s House of Hospice in Sioux Falls. 

Memorial services are at 10 a.m. on Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Visitation is 5 – 7 p.m. on Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Clear Lake. Burial is at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis and a reception will be held after the burial at the Hills View Evangelical Free Church, 13776 Sturgis Road, Piedmont. Houseman Funeral Home of Clear Lake is entrusted with the arrangements. 

Lennis Dale Baumiller was born on Nov. 9, 1948 in Scotland  to parents Clarence and Eldora (Schelske) Baumiller.  He graduated from Scotland High School and then attended 2 years at SDSU attaining his associates degree.  During college through October 1984, Lennis worked at the SDSU Dairy Barn.
