BROOKINGS – Sam Fuss scored on an assist from Colby Enns with 3:25 remaining to lift the Minot Minotauros over the Brookings Blizzard, 2-1, in an NAHL Central Division match-up Friday night at Larson Ice Center.
Minot’s Colby Enns opened the scoring 47 seconds into the second period. Austin Dollimer and Nolan Sawchuk were credited with assists.
Brookings’ Connor Koviak knotted things up with a goal with 45 seconds to go in the second. Derek Hammer assisted.
Samu Lonkila made 26 saves to earn the win in goal. Brookings’ Adam Brizgala stopped 19 shots.
The Blizzard (15-20-2-2, 34 points) and Minotauros (17-14- 4-2, 40 points) face off again tonight at 7:05 in Brookings.
