Myrna Crain Brown, a lifetime resident of Brookings passed away peacefully at the Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, AZ at the age of 59 after succumbing to cancer.
Myrna was born to Maurice and Marjo Crain in Lake Prestonand was a 1978 graduate of Brookings High School. She worked over 30 years at 3M and was currently employed at Bel Brands where she loved her job and the people she worked with. Myrna also loved spending time with family, friends and pets; reading; gardening; and traveling. Her two kids Cody and Emma were the absolute joys of her life.
Myrna is survived by her two kids; Cody Brown of Minneapolis, MN, and Emma Brown of Brookings. Two Brothers; Mike Crain (Tami) of Scottsdale, AZ and Mark Crain (Tracey) of Gilbert, AZ.
Myrna is preceded in death by her parents Maurice and Marjo Crain.
Memorials may be sent to the Brookings Regional Humane Society at 120 W. 2nd St. Brookings.
There will be a small funeral for family, relatives and very close friends in the upcoming future
