ESTELLINE – Estelline/Hendricks held a one-point lead through three quarters, but a 17-7 fourth quarter for the visiting Great Plains Lutheran Panthers helped them to pick up a 41-32 road win over the Redhawks in area girls’ basketball on Tuesday night.
Sadie Johnson led E/H with 12 points and seven rebounds, while Kate Wegner added 10 points and had four steals.
Kenzy Beare chipped in with seven points and seven rebounds.
The Panthers were led by Hallie Bauer with 11 points, Mali York with nine, and Madeline Prahl with eight.
Estelline/Hendricks (4-6) hosts Deubrook Area on Friday beginning at 6 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with the Redhawks’ boys’ basketball team.
