Peg was born July 30, 1961, in Flandreau to Roger and Darlene (Otto) Bauer. She went to school in Elkton. She had several jobs which she enjoyed with her last one being at Twin City Fan in Elkton where she enjoyed her fellow co-workers and made many wonderful friendships. She was blessed with having two children Kim and Heath.
Peg loved being around family, her grandchildren, hosting family gatherings and loved her coffee go-ers. She enjoyed keeping up with her soap operas and helping other residents at the nursing home. She had a sense of humor that many people enjoyed. She left a very large impression on people in a short amount of time when being somewhere. In 2007 she suffered a massive stroke which left her speechless and paralyzed. She was very much admired for her strength, patience and courage over the past 10 years. Peg is a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
Peg is survived by her children Kim (Mike) Bloom of Tyler, Minnesota, and Heath (Brittany) Houselog of Lake Benton; brothers Jim (Tammie) Bauer; Tim (Toni) Bauer; Dave (Kristina) Bauer; sister Kathy (Steve) Kopecky all of Elkton; seven grandchildren; niece and nephews.
