Robert Owen Charles Koerner, 91; died Oct. 26, 2018, at his home in Lincoln, Nebraska, surrounded by his family. Robert spent his career as a biologist with the Soil Conservation Service. His greatest joys in life were spending time with family, his faith community, photography and time outdoors. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann and eight siblings.
Robert is survived by his seven children, Paul (Jan), Dan (Janet), Colette (Bill Bohl), Roberta (Ty Westover), Patty (Dan Drozda), Kathy (Dan Steinmeyer), Tom (Shelley), 21 grandchildren and 13 great -grandchildren. Visitation was Nov. 1 at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services were Nov. 2 at Cathedral of The Risen Christ in Lincoln.
