FARGO, N.D. – The South Dakota State track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Lyle Hokanson Classic on Saturday evening.
Kayla McDonald tied for first in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.02 seconds, which ranks seventh on the Jackrabbits’ all-time top-10 list. McDonald also won the 200-meter dash title, posting a time of 24.38 for sixth in school history.
Cailyn Schreurs claimed the title in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:03.60. Evelyn Klein recorded a time of 1:05.06 for third place.
Jaymie O'Connor finished third in the 100-meter hurdles (14.53).
In the women's 1,500-meter run, Anna Fasen finished second after recording a personal-best time of 4:49.62.
On the men's side, Landon Larson won the 100-meter dash, posting a time of 10.66 to move into seventh in school history.
Zach Koosman and Riley Sears tied for third in the high jump after clearing 6- feet, 6 inches.
In the 200-meter dash, Dru Kenny took third with a time of 21.98.
Alejandro Sanchez placed third in the men's 400-meter dash with a time of 49.04.
Peter Bates won the decathlon with a point total of 5,874. Evan Hieber finished second with 4,217 points.
The Jackrabbits travel to Vermillion on Tuesday to compete in the USD Twilight.
