MADISON, Wis. – The South Dakota State men’s golf team shot 913 (300-312-301) and finished 15th out of 16 teams in the Badger Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at the 7,259-yard, par-72 University Ridge Golf Course.

MADISON, Wis. – The South Dakota State men’s golf team shot 913 (300-312-301) and finished 15th out of 16 teams in the Badger Invitational, which concluded Tuesday at the 7,259-yard, par-72 University Ridge Golf Course.
Texas A&M won by six strokes with a 25-under-par 839 (276-264-279) total. The Aggies’ Chandler Phillips was medalist with a 12-under 204 (66-70-68) total. He had 10 birdies and four eagles in the event.
Alejandro Perazzo paced the Jackrabbits, tying for 47th at 223 (73-72-78). Alejandro Restrepo (75-80-71—226) tied for 66th, Jared Nicolls (73-77-77—227) tied for 70th, Zach Sackett (84-83-75—242) took 101st and Din Fuad (79-84-83—246) finished 102nd. Competing as an individual, Michael Duch (79-81-81—241) was 100th.
SDSU competes in the Ram Masters Invitational on Monday and Tuesday in Fort Collins, Colo.
