MADISON, Wis. – The South Dakota State men’s golf team remained in 11th after the second round of the Badger Invitational on Monday.
The Jackrabbits dropped 11 strokes off their first-round score, shooting a 297 for a 605 total on the 7,259-yard, par-72 University Ridge Golf Course.
Illinois State (285) remains in the lead with at 572. Iowa State’s Lachlan Barker (66) leads the 78-player field with a 7-under-par 137 total.
Jared Nicolls (75) leads SDSU, sitting in a tie for 41st at 150. Sam Batta (75) is tied for 44th with a 36-hole score of 151. Harry Duggan (78) is tied for 59th at 155, Alejandro Perazzo (76) is tied for 62nd at 156 and Jacob Otta (71) is tied for 69th at 156.
Playing as an individual, Jaxon Lynn (79) is tied for 73rd at 160.
The final round is today.
