VOLGA – All Sioux Valley High School students and staff are safe after sheltering in place and law enforcement being called for an unspecified “dangerous situation” at the Volga school Tuesday morning.
The incident was reported at 9:46 a.m. Tuesday at the high school, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
The sheriff’s office shared a statement from the school:
“Sioux Valley School released the following statement regarding an incident this morning at the Sioux Valley High School:
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We had a dangerous situation with a high school student here at school in which we had to call a ‘shelter in place’ for all students and staff. Law enforcement was called, is on the scene, and the situation is under control. All students and staff are safe.
