ABERDEEN – Northern State’s Trey Tiefenthaler has been named as the Qdoba Athlete of the Week for his athletic efforts last week. Each week, Qdoba Mexican Grill honors two athletes for their efforts on the field of play.
Tiefenthaler, a Brookings native, won two events at the UNK Loper Invite with a time of 11.00 seconds in the 100-meter dash and a mark of 46 feet, 2 3/4 inches in the triple jump. He added a third-place finish in the long jump with a 21-8 mark. He also was a member of the second-place 4x100-meter relay that ran to a season best time of 43.06 seconds.
