BROOKINGS – The 11th annual Turkey Day 5K, hosted by Brookings Swim Club, is Thanksgiving Thursday.
The race gets underway at 9 a.m.
It begins in the McCrory Gardens parking lot and runs through the South Dakota State University campus.
Race day registration is from 7:45-8:45 a.m. at the McCrory Gardens Visitor Center at 631 22nd Ave. Parking is available on the west side of Walmart along 22nd Avenue.
The entry fee is $30 for individuals and $60 for families if done online by Nov. 20. The race day entry fee is $35 per individual and $70 for families.
For the family deal, a family is comprised of two adults plus related children less than 18 years of age.
Walkers are welcome.
