I would like to take this opportunity to express my support for Roger DeGroot and his candidacy as District 7 representative in the South Dakota Legislature.

Roger has a strong record of serving and working with the public. As a teacher, principal and district educational leader, he has shown a determined commitment to the betterment of our community. As a district superintendent and school board member, he successfully helped in moving education of youth forward, preparing them for the challenges of the new century.

In building a partnership with educators, administrators, students and parents, this was accomplished with a sharp eye toward fiscal responsibility.

With an already proven record visible in his rearview mirror, Roger is ready to look toward the future and continue to provide leadership to South Dakota and its citizenry as our state continues to grow and prosper. Roger will prove to be a champion for all citizens of this great state and take on the challenges facing us today.

He will be a conduit for open and positive communication for all shareholders of District 7. As we face forward and take on the tasks at hand, Roger will ably work for us and provide that proven leadership in Pierre.
