For the second time this season, the South Dakota State University baseball team is moving a weekend baseball series to Sioux Falls.
This weekend, the Jackrabbits are scheduled to play a three-game set at Sioux Falls Stadium (The Birdcage) against Western Illinois.
The series opener is slated for 3 p.m. Friday, followed by a noon doubleheader on Saturday.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students (K-12) each day. SDSU students will be admitted for free with a valid ID. Please note no concessions will be available at the ballpark this weekend.
SDSU enters the second half of the Summit League season in second place in the league standings with a 9-6 conference record and 16-15 overall.
Western Illinois, which has won six consecutive league games, is tied for third at 8-7 and is 14-20 overall.
