BROOKINGS – South Dakota State suffered its 21st consecutive Summit League defeat, falling 25-21, 25-17, 25-13 to South Dakota on Sunday afternoon at Frost Arena.
Taylor Wilson had 14 kills, three service aces and 2 1/2 blocks (one solo) for the Coyotes (11-7, 5-1). Hayley Dotseth contributed 16 kills and nine digs.
Madison Jurgens dished out 36 set assists and Anne Rasmussen came up with 16 digs.
For the Jackrabbits, Makenzie Hennen recorded nine kills, two aces and a block assist.
Maddie Fay had 22 set assists and Ellie Thein tallied 11 digs. Sydney Andrews and Ashlynn Smith both recorded six kills.
SDSU (3-15, 0-5) plays at Oral Roberts on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Tulsa, Okla.
