BROOKINGS — Al Austreim has filed sufficient signatures to be placed on the April 9 ballot for the position of Brookings City Council member, according to a recent news release from the City Clerk’s office.
Nominating petitions and candidate packets are available at the City Clerk’s Office for the following elected positions up for election on April 9:
The last day to file petitions is Feb. 23 by 5 p.m. at the City Clerk’s Office, Brookings City & County Government Center, 520 Third St., Suite 230. For more information, contact City Clerk Bonnie Foster at 605-692-6281 or bfoster@cityofbrookings-sd.gov.
