WATERTOWN – The Arrows beat the Bobcats 51-29 in a girls’ basketball matchup Friday night at Civic Arena.
A 21-0 second quarter turned a tie game into a 30-9 halftime advantage for the home team.
Jaida Young scored 21 points and Oliva Corey had 13. Maggie Heesch grabbed 13 rebounds.
Brookings got nine points and six boards from Ainsley Shelsta.
The Bobcats shot 22.7% (10-of-44) from the field.
Watertown is now 5-13.
Brookings (2-16) concludes the regular season at Pierre on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
