SIOUX FALLS – West defeated the Bullets 12-11 to conclude the regular season Monday at Harmodon.
Brookings’ Jacob York went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBIs.
Yuji Numata was 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs.
Sam Johnson (double), Kalen Reisetter (single) and Jackson Hunter added RBIs.
Jack Merritt and Jacob Kahle singled.
York gave up 11 runs – eight earned – on eight hits and five walks with two strikeouts over six innings.
Brookings has a 6-21 record.
The 16U State Tournament is Thursday through Sunday in Rapid City.
