SIOUX FALLS – For the sixth time this season, South Dakota State’s Mike Daum was selected as Summit League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.
The senior from Kimball, Neb., put together a 34-point, 21-rebound showing to help the Jackrabbits win 78-74 at North Dakota on Jan. 16.
Daum set a new career-high in rebounds and notched his 12th double-double of the season.
Daum, who has picked up the league’s weekly honor 17 times as a Jackrabbit, currently sits 20th on the NCAA Division I all-time scoring chart with 2,740 career points.
SDSU is host to North Dakota State on Thursday at 7 p.m.
