Diann Hoffman, age 76, of Crooks, passed away on March 20, 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Minnehaha Funeral Home in Dell Rapids, on Tuesday, March 26th, with visitation from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance at 6 p.m.
Diann was born to Donald and Donna Moad in December of 1947 in Brookings, SD. In 1965, she married the love of her life, Jerry Hoffman. After raising three daughters, Diann was employed at Citibank for 29 years.
Diann is survived by her husband Jerry Hoffman; brother Jerry (Sheryl) Moad; daughters: Jody (Matthew) Stork, Stacy (Monte) Claussen, Kelly (Brian) Gaalswyk; grandchildren: Nicholas Van Liere, Kaitlyn (Riley) Austin, Daniel (Anna) Stork, Josh and Caleb Stork, Chelsi Hoffman, Breanna Hanson, Dominic Cartagena, Lexie (Tyler) Palmer; great grandchildren: Myles Hanson, Talyn Brown, Millicent & Frederick Austin, Jayda Burns, Kane & Crue Myers, Easton, Paxton & Oaklyn Palmer, and Graycen Halstead. Also mourning her loss are sisters-in-law: Paula Platz, Mary Jo Hoffman, and Lona Hoffman; brother-in-law, Tom (Kim) Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws La Verne and Madeline Hoffman; brothers Doug and Kevin Moad; sister-in-law Sharon Moad and brother-in-law Bill Platz; grandsons Brach and Cody Van Liere.
