The 2017 First Bank & Trust Fishback Classic ended with several local teams bringing home hardware, led by the Brookings Futbol Club U12 girls, who beat the Vermillion Predators, 3-1, in the championship game to take the title.
The U16 Select girls also won a championship, defeating TriState Revolution, 3-0, in Sunday’s title game, while the U13 Select girls placed second after falling, 2-1, to Dakota United in the championship game.

On the boys’ side, the U19 Select boys placed second as they lost 4-3 to Storm Lake in the championship game. Hossam Halaweish fires a shot on goal during the first half of Sunday’s U19 title game.

The BFC U12 boys also placed second after dropping a 2-1 decision in the title game to the Greater Grand Forks Soccer Club.
