CHESTER – The host Flyer girls and the Viborg-Hurley boys won the team titles at the Tom Main Invitational on Saturday.

Girls

Chester totaled 112 points, while Viborg-Hurley (87) was second and Colman-Egan (73.5) third. Elkton-Lake Benton (22) finished 11th and Oldham-Ramona/Rutland (9) took 12th.

The Hawks’ Olivia Baumberger won the long jump with a mark of 15 feet, 4 inches.

Haleigh Nicol was tops in the triple jump at 31-10 3/4. Teammate Sami Lebert was runner-up with a distance of 31-5 1/2.

Mackenzie Hemmer placed third in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.1 seconds.

Boys

Viborg-Hurley won with 111 points. Colman-Egan and Chester tied for second with 99 points. ORR (55) was seventh and ELB (38) eighth.

The Hawks’ Walker Olivier placed first in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.5 seconds and second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.3.

Kade Groos found the winner’s circle in the 200 with a 23.3 clocking.

Devin Lohr, Bodee Groos, Cole Kriech and Kade Groos took the 4x200-meter relay in 1:34.1. Lohr, Olivier, Kade Groos and Kriech won the medley relay in 3:$5.5.

Malik Poppenga took second in both the long jump (18-7) and triple jump (39-8). Lohr was third in the 200 in 23.9.

The Raiders’ Casey Renaas won the 1,600 in a time of 5:07.3.

Bennet Trygstad was second in both the shot put (47-4) and discus (145-0).

Connor Spilde placed second in the 3,200 (11:14.9) and Riston Wolf ended up third in the shot put (46-8).

The Elks’ Miles Harming finished first in the 3,200 in 10:58.5.
