Loren G. Moller, 61, of Trent,  died Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his home in Trent.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Flandreau, with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Loren was born July 31, 1956, in Dell Rapids, to Melvin and Mercedes (Sagness) Moller. He attended school in Egan, graduating from Egan High School in 1974. He moved to Minneapolis and worked at Arrow Tank as a welder. Loren married Sharryl Carney on Sept. 11, 1976, in Minneapolis. They moved to Trent in 1977 and Loren worked for L.G. Everist for 40 years.

He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Dell Rapids and was a volunteer fireman for the Trent Fire Department for over 20 years.

Loren enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandkids. He had to be doing something constantly. Loren always had the gift to talk to others and was always concerned with others rather than himself.

Loren is survived by his wife Sharryl; two daughters, Charity (Daniel) Bergheim of Sioux Falls and Chassidy (Chris) Glover of Howard City, Michigan; three grandchildren; special niece Kimberly Hemmer; two sisters, Gwen Jurgens of Rapid City and Marlene Westover of Isle, Minnesota and one brother Louie (Sheila) Moller of Ramsey, Minnesota. Loren was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers-in-law, Merle Westover and Butch Jurgens.
