Marsha Ann Johnson, 65, of Flandreau, died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018, at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Flandreau, with burial in Union Cemetery in Flandreau. Visitation is Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Skroch Funeral Chapel.
Marsha was born Oct. 13, 1952, at Vandalia, Illinois, to J.D. and Florence (Hoelscher) Little. She received her education in Wheaton, Illinois, graduating in 1971.
Marsha worked for United Airlines and then moved to Elkton. She married Roger D. Johnson on April 7, 1978, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ward.
They farmed and Marsha worked as a dispatcher for the Moody County Sheriff’s Department for 17 years. Marsha was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and enjoyed quilting, sewing, flowers and gardening.
Marsha is survived by her husband Roger, two sons, Ryan (Susan) of St. Louis Park, Minnesota, and Dennis (Angela) of Grimes, Iowa; four grandchildren; one brother, David (Kathi) Bennett of Elkton; four sisters, Carla (Jim) Stark of Dixon, Illinois, JoLynn Brouwer of Sioux Falls, Karen McGinnis of North Carolina and Barbara (Randy) Lepper of Chanhassen, Minnesota.
Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Florence Bennett and brother Roger.
