The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Elkton at the Community Center on Aug. 18.

Maddisyn called the meeting to order. Jackson led the flag pledge, and Carli led the 4-H pledge.

Medary Creek Beavers make candy bouquets

The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Elkton at the Community Center on Aug. 18.

Maddisyn called the meeting to order. Jackson led the flag pledge, and Carli led the 4-H pledge.

The roll call was, “If you could be any kind of animal, what would it be?”

Old business discussed: 4-H Pork Booth Report; 4-H Dog Show and Achievement Days report.

New business discussed: 2024 Premium Award Form must be turned in by Sept. 6; State Fair Display Exhibits had to be dropped off between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21 (all exhibit tags must be attached).

State Fair Food Exhibits can be dropped off. If you attended a 4-H camp you can fill out the assistance form, this must be turned in by Dec. 3. Record books need to be turned into the office by Oct. 4. September is the last month to do a demonstration for this year to get a three-year pin award.

Community service and 4-H promotion: candy bouquet for the Extension office.

Next meeting will be Sept. 8 in Bushnell for ditch cleaning.
