BOULDER CITY, Nevada – After Friday’s two rounds of the Jackrabbit Invitational, the South Dakota State men’s golf team is sixth.
The Jackrabbits shot a 588 (291-297) on the par-72, 7,402-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club. Nevada leads the 15-team field, shooting a 562 (288-274). Grant Booth of the Wolfpack shot a nine-under par 135 (71-64) to lead the 88-player field.
Junior Jared Nicolls is tied for sixth, shooting a three-under par 141 (69-72) with nine birdies. Classmate Alejandro Perazzo is tied for 22nd, firing a 146 (74-72) with six birdies.
Senior Naqiuddin Fuad is tied for 35th (75-74=149), sophomore Jacob Otta tied for 47th (73-79=152) and senior Max Donohue is tied for 83rd (79-87=166).
Playing as individuals, senior Michael Duch is tied for 74th (87-72=159), junior Jaxon Lynn tied for 83rd (85-81=166) and senior Zach Sackett finished 86th (87-89=176).
