New mental health counseling service opens in Brookings

Posted

BROOKINGS — Tracy Chapman Stuart has opened a new new mental health counseling practice in Brookings.

Chapman Stuart is a licensed professional counselor in South Dakota with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.

She helps teens and young adults navigate life changes, anxiety, and depression.

She recently joined the Sioux Falls-based Yellow Brick Road Counseling and Therapy, bringing a new location to Brookings in the 1921 building.

She has immediate availability for new clients with options to meet in person or virtually across South Dakota.

With the holidays behind us and some cold winter months still ahead, it’s important to look out for signs of seasonal affective disorder. Some of these include: irritability, fatigue, loss of interest or pleasure in typically enjoyable activities, social withdrawal, and increased need for sleep.

Chapman Stuart can be reached at tracycs@yellowbrickroadcounselingtherapy.com.
