The awards “recognize leaders in the culinary and food media industries, honoring exceptional talent and achievement in the culinary arts, hospitality, media and broader food system,” according to information from the Pheasant.

Representatives from the Pheasant will accept the award in June in Chicago.

“As we stand on that stage, we will be overflowing with gratitude for 75 years of love and support from this amazing community,” the Pheasant wrote in its online post announcing the award, “gratitude for the dedication of our team, and gratitude to Ron and Georgiana Olson for having a vision in 1966 for this little gas station cafe out past the edge of town.”
