SIOUX FALLS – South Dakota State’s Maggie Smither was named Summit League’s Co-Defensive Player of the Week.
Smither posted a pair of shutout victories between the pipes over the weekend, as the Jackrabbits topped Oral Roberts 1-0 and Omaha 2-0 on the road in league play.
The Sioux Falls native recorded six saves in the win over the Golden Eagles and finished the weekend with nine total saves.
