South Dakota State will have back-to-back rivalry football games televised nationally on the ESPN family of networks during the upcoming 2024 season.
As part of a new six-year television rights agreement signed last summer between the Missouri Valley Football Conference and ESPN, at least nine regular season league games will be featured on ESPN linear networks (ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU) through 2029. Both of the MVFC’s nationally televised games selected for the 2024 campaign feature the Jackrabbits — the Oct. 19 Dakota Marker game at North Dakota State and the Oct. 26 Interstate Series matchup against South Dakota at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium.
Network assignments and game times for those two contests will be announced at a later date.
In addition, SDSU’s Oct. 5 league opener at Northern Iowa has been selected as an MVFC Game of the Week and will be featured exclusively on the ESPN+ streaming platform. All other league home games will be available for viewing on ESPN+ with some games also delivered through regional carriers, including Midco Sports.
