ELKTON – The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit-and-run incident in Elkton that caused an estimated $3,500 in damage to a vehicle on Tuesday.
The incident was reported at 9:34 p.m. and occurred between 5 and 9:34 p.m. when the 2013 Dodge Journey was parked in either the 200 block of Elk Street or the 100 block of Elk Street, according to Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring in a news release. The damage occurred on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
