CLOQUET, Minn. – Ryan Fanti made 24 saves to post the shutout and five different Wilderness lit the lamp during their 5-0 defeat of the Blizzard in an NAHL Central Division game Friday night at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.
Ondrej Trejbal (power play) and Ryan Nelson scored in the first period; Nate Horn and Luke Dow found the back of the net in the second; and Isaac Kobienia added a power-play goal in the third.
Trejbal and Dow both notched a pair of assists, while Horn, Jack Suchy, Oula Kuure and Brandon McNamara each added one for the Wilderness (8-8-1-0, 17 points).
McLean Dorr stopped 35 shots for the Blizzard (2-12-1-1, 6 points).
The teams face off again tonight at 7:05 in Cloquet.
