MARSHALL – The Bobcats grabbed the first set, 25-20, but then dropped the next three from the host Tigers, 25-16, 25-12 and 25-15, in nonconference volleyball action across the border.
Kailee Bartels and Michaela Jewett garnered seven kills apiece as Jewett added 17 set assists and 13 digs to the effort.
Clarissa Miller added three kills while Miranda Ysbrand collected 25 digs.
The Bobcats, 3-9, play host to Yankton on Tuesday.

ELKTON – The Lady Elks used a balanced attack to sweep Dell Rapids St. Mary in Dakota Valley Conference volleyball action on Tuesday night.
Aubrey Wirth finished with 11 kills while Baylee Jandahl, Emily Miller and Kailyn Drietz chipped in with six kills apiece as Elkton-Lake Benton improved to 6-8 overall and 4-1 in the DVC.
Julia Drietz tallied 22 set assists as Alex Sanderson and Kailyn Drietz each collected nine digs.
Cassie Mullaney had seven kills to lead the Quarriers as Ella Heinitz notched 18 set assists.
Colman-Egan 3, Howard 0
COLMAN – The Hawks powered to a 25-17, 25-23, 25-9 win over Howard in nonconference volleyball action on Tuesday.
Jordan Wittrock and Kennedi Landis led the CE offense with 12 and 11 set assists, respectively, as Colman-Egan moved to 8-4 on the season.
Olivia Baumberger tallied six kills; Katie Hannasch and Mackenzie Hemmer added five apiece; and Elizabeth Moore notched two blocks for CE at the net.
Braiden Westley and Moore collected 15 and 13 digs, respectively, while Jordan Wittrock and Kennedi Landis set up 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
The Hawks compete in the Sanford Pentagon Tournament on Saturday.

The Cardinals cruised to a sweep of the ORR Pirates, winning Set 1, 25-8, and Set 2, 25-9, before closing out the match with a 25-14 triumph in the third set.
Jayna Haufschild finished with 11 kills while Hayley Carlson nearly posted a double-double with nine kills and 13 assists, to go along with three ace serves.
Jeryn Christensen collected 13 digs and served five aces in the win.
Khloe Tieman posted 12 set assist while Rylie Aschmeller tallied eight digs.
