HURON – Brookings shot 388 and finished ninth in the Huron Invitational on Thursday at Broadland Creek.
O’Gorman took the title with a 320 total, while Mitchell (325) was second and Harrisburg (339) third.
Harrisburg’s Reese Jansa was medalist with a 2-under-par 70.
The Knights’ Shannon McCormick was runner-up at 71 and teammate Lauren Sutcliffe (73) placed third.
For the Bobcats, Delilah Fuls shot 84, Ashton Austreim 90, Paige Mahlke 103 and Jaden Devine 111.
Brookings competes in the Yankton Invitational today at 10 a.m.
Colman-Egan Invite
COLMAN – The host Hawks shot 273 to win their invitational by 28 strokes on Thursday at Sunrise Ridge.
Oldham-Ramona/Rutland’s Carter Wermers was medalist with an 89.
Colman-Egan’s Taylor Kriech was runner-up at 90. Sawyer Uhing (91) placed second and Camden Schmidt (92) finished third.
The Hawks’ Berkley Groos placed first on the girls’ side after shooting 106.
