WATERTOWN – The Brookings gymnastics team earned a score of 137.475 and placed fourth in the Watertown Invitational on Saturday.
The host Arrows won with a 146.975. Mitchell (142.9) was second and Deuel (138.525) third.
Watertown’s Myah Morris won the all-around with a 37.3, edging teammate Brooke Bollinger (37.2).
The Bobcats’ Rachel Gannon was seventh at 35.775. Tayla Dobrenski (34.4) finished 11th and Sierra Stevens (33.4) 15th.
Gannon led the team on the beam (seventh, 8.875), bars (11th, 8.5) and floor (tie-11th, 9.325). She tied for ninth on the vault (9.075). Stevens tied for sixth on the vault at 9.15.
Morris won the vault (9.85), Bollinger the bars (9.4), Mitchell’s Aubrey Gelderman the beam (9.2) and Huron’s Erica Zell the floor (9.7).
Watertown is host to Brookings and Sioux Falls Roosevelt in a triangular today at 5 p.m.
