RAPID CITY – Kade Groos scored 13 of Colman-Egan’s 15 team points at the Class B State Boys’ Track and Field Meet on Saturday at O’Harra Stadium.

Groos, Voelker team up to tally 15 points for Colman-Egan

RAPID CITY – Kade Groos scored 13 of Colman-Egan’s 15 team points at the Class B State Boys’ Track and Field Meet on Saturday at O’Harra Stadium.

The senior placed third in the 400-meter dash in 50.8 seconds. He added a fourth-place showing in the 200 (22.79) and took eighth in the 100 (11.46).

Teammate Ryan Voelker ended up sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a 16.8-second clocking.

Deubrook Area’s Jacob Johnson finished seventh in the 300-meter hurdles in 44.97.

Freeman won a pair of relays and got a victory from Collin Helma in the 400 on Saturday en route to winning the team title with 46 points. Viborg-Hurley (42) was second, while Gregory and Wall tied for third at 37.
