BROOKINGS – The Brookings bowling teams swept a match against Sioux Falls Jefferson on Jan. 20. The girls improved to 10-0 after a dominating 45.5-4.5 win, while the boys got back to .500 (5-5) with a 35-15 victory.

BROOKINGS – The Brookings bowling teams swept a match against Sioux Falls Jefferson on Jan. 20. The girls improved to 10-0 after a dominating 45.5-4.5 win, while the boys got back to .500 (5-5) with a 35-15 victory.
The Bobcats will travel to Sport Bowl in Sioux Falls on Friday to take on Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
GIRLS
• Brookings 45.5, Sioux Falls Jefferson 4.5
Brooklyn Hieb led the way for the Bobcats as she bowled a 672 total. Her highest score came in her final game as she bowled a 269. She also bowled a 219 in her second game, which was the second highest score on the team.
Brookings had four other bowlers bowl a total over 400. Kacee Rhody bowled a total of 589 and her highest score was 205 in her first game. Teagen Bremmon bowled a 544 and her highest score came in her second game when she bowled a 201.
Peyton McBride was right behind Bremmon as she bowled a total of 543. Her highest score came in her last game and it was 194. Alexi Hieb bowled a total of 445 and her highest score was 165 and that came in her second game.
BOYS
• Brooking 35, Sioux Falls Jefferson 15
The Bobcats had two bowlers have a total over 500 in Dylan Scubelek and Adrian Howard. Dylan Scubulek bowled a total of 556 and his highest score came in his final game and it was 210. Howard bowled a total of 538. His highest score was in his second game and it was 197.
Brookings had five other bowlers that bowled a total over 400. Jaiden Monnell bowled a total of 478 and his highest score was 184. James Teft had a total of 461 and his highest score was 169. Gavan Stewart was right behind Teft as he bowled a total of 459 and his highest score was 167.
Gage Zarecky bowled a total of 448 and his highest score was 161. Holden Austreim had a total of 431 and his highest score was 166.
