SALEM/BALTIC – McCook Central/Montrose defeated Parker 52-24 and Beresford dropped Flandreau 60-53 in the Big East Conference Girls’ Basketball Tournament semifinals Friday night.
In the consolation semifinals, Garretson topped Sioux Valley 50-22 and Chester Area edged Baltic 43-37.
The Fighting Cougars (12-0) and Watchdogs (9-2) face off for the title tonight at 6:30 in Flandreau.
The Fliers (8-4) take on the Pheasants (5-6) in the third-place game at 5 p.m.
The Blue Dragons (6-5) and Flyers (7-6) play for fifth at 3:30 p.m., and the Cossacks (3-10) play the Lady Bulldogs (2-11) for seventh at 2 p.m.
