The South Dakota State University rodeo team will kick up the dust at the 67th annual Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo at the Swiftel Center in Brookings with back-to-back-to-back performances March 31 and April 1. Tickets go on sale Friday at the Swiftel Center’s Active Heating Box Office and online at www.Ticketmaster.com.
Attendees will watch intense rodeo action with the initial competition beginning at 7:30 p.m. March 31 and continuing April 1 at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This two-day event is a National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association-approved rodeo featuring events such as: bareback riding, barrel racing, breakaway roping, bull riding, goat tying, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping and tie down roping.
Mezzanine general admission tickets are only available at the Active Heating Box Office. Mezzanine general admission tickets are$25for adults and $20 for children ages 3 to 12; kids 2 and under are free! South Dakota State University students can receive a $20mezzanine general admission ticket with student ID while supplies last.
All 200-level tickets are sold as reserved seating with 2 ticket levels: $31 for the first five rows and $28 for the sixth row and above.200-level reserved children tickets are only available at the Active Heating Box Office for $20 for children ages 3 to 12. For every ticket purchased, $3 goes directly back to the SDSU Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo team.
Sit in the best seat in the house! A VIP ticket is $50and includes a reserved seat next to the ring, getting you up close to the action. There is a small limited amount available, first-come, first-serve.
About the SDSU Rodeo Club
South Dakota State University’s rodeo program has a rich history of over 1,200 rodeo team alumni dating back to the first meeting held in the livestock pavilion (now Ag Heritage Museum) in 1952. The program has produced multiple NFR qualifiers, CNFR qualifiers and regional championships. The SDSU Jackrabbit Stampede Rodeo has been named the Great Plains Region Rodeo of the Year eight times.
