South Dakota State women’s soccer has released its full schedule for the upcoming 2018 season along with limited season ticket packages.
The Jackrabbits’ schedule features 11 home dates, including early-September bouts with Creighton (Big EAST) and Arizona State (Pac-12).
In total, SDSU will play one exhibition, 11 nonconference matches and eight league contests before playing host to the 2018 Summit League Women’s Soccer Championship.
Fans can purchase season tickets for $40, which includes tickets to regular season home matches and a Jackrabbit Soccer Scarf.

“We’re extremely excited about testing ourselves in nonconference to prepare for an always-challenging Summit League schedule,” SDSU head coach Brock Thompson said. “With the quality of opponents coming to Brookings, including a Pac-12 team for the first time, there’s never been a better time to purchase Jackrabbit soccer season tickets.”
SDSU will tune up for the 2018 campaign with a road exhibition at Minnesota on Aug. 11 before opening the season on the road, Aug. 17 and 19 at Iowa State and Kansas, respectively.
From there, the Jacks play six consecutive home games from Aug. 24 through Sept. 10 as Wayne State (Aug. 24), Drake (Aug. 26), Green Bay (Aug. 31), Creighton (Sept. 2), Northern Iowa (Sept. 7) and Arizona State (Sept. 10) are set to visit Fishback Soccer Park.
After the extended homestand, South Dakota State travels West for a two-game road trip at Idaho State and Eastern Washington (Sept. 13 and 16) before wrapping up the nonconference schedule at home against UMKC on Sept. 21.
Four home games in the final month of the season highlight The Summit League portion of South Dakota State’s schedule, released last month by the league office.
The Jackrabbits will play host to Denver, South Dakota, Omaha and Oral Roberts at Fishback Soccer Park with road games at Fort Wayne, Western Illinois, North Dakota State and league newcomer North Dakota.
After the regular season, South Dakota State will play host to The Summit League Championships in Brookings on Nov. 1 and 3 after the Jackrabbits won last year’s regular-season crown.
