The Cossacks were the top dog in the Lake Central Conference Tournament shooting a boys' team total 244. Hamlin and De Smet tied for second place (257).

Sioux Valley, Hamlin win LCC Tournament

Boys

The Cossacks were the top dog in the Lake Central Conference Tournament shooting a boys' team total 244. Hamlin and De Smet tied for second place (257).

Sioux Valley’s Westin Trenhaile won the individual tournament shooting a 77. Tanner Preheim of Deul came in second (79) and Hamlin’s Devan Weelborg came in third (80). 

The Cossacks also had the fourth and fifth place finishers with Noah Puetz and Trent Hiltunen shooting 83 and 84, respectively. They also had the 10th-place finisher in Nate Busiker (88).

Flandreau came in seventh place. Tison Burgraff and Dylan Christenson led the way for the Fliers finishing 23rd and 24th, respectively

Girls

The Hamlin Chargers were victorious on the girls’ side of the tournament with a score of 282. Deul came in second (290) and Clark/Willow Lake came in third (293).

Flandreau finished in fifth place shooting a 299 and Sioux Valley was right behind them in seventh (309).

Katlyn Maynard of Clark/Willow Lake won the individual tournament shooting a 87. Sioux Valley’s Julia Steffensen tied for second place with with Duel’s Jaydyn TeGantvoot (89).

Logan Keszler of Hamlin and Keva Burshiem tied for fourth place shooting a 91.

Hamlin’s Dannika Weelborg came in sixth (93) and Flandreau’s Grace Johasnson finished in seventh (94).
