SDSU women earn WBCA Academic Top 25 honors

ATLANTA, Ga. – The South Dakota State women’s basketball team was honored Tuesday as the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) announced its 2019-20 Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll. The Jackrabbits tied for 11th in NCAA Division I with a team grade point average of 3.696.

Brewers, Rats undefeated on opening weekend of Class A state tourney; Cubs split

YANKTON – The defending-champion Sioux Falls Brewers and Brandon Valley both went 2-0 on the opening weekend of the Class A State Amateur Baseball Tournament at Riverside Park. The Cubs fell 8-4 to Brandon Valley in the first round Saturday and beat the Sioux Falls Flying Squirrels 11-3 on Sunday to stay alive.
