• 3:09 p.m. Brookings police received some drug information.
• 4:28 p.m. Officers investigated an assault that may have taken place the night prior. Officers interviewed the individuals involved and probable cause was not established. A report was taken.
• 4:33 p.m. An officer received a report of fraud via an online scam. A report taken — still under investigation.

Wednesday, Jan. 24

• 10:01 a.m. Brookings police officers took a report of no-contact order violation. One male was arrested.
• 2:58 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident that occurred in the 300 block of Third Street. A report was filed.
• 6:35 p.m. Police received a 911 abandoned call.
